PATTERNS AND COLORS THAT WILL BE IN FOREVER...

DRESS: Revolve // SHOES: Vince Camuto // BAG: Gucci // HAT: Nordstrom

I'm officially diving into fall content and I couldn't be more excited. This fall is filled with tons of animal prints, neutrals, stripes, and really being out there. I feel like I wear stripes the most during this season because a lot of my pieces are neutrals. Stripes pair so well with utility jackets, plaid scarves, and leopard print. I love everything that's going with this dress. They truly turned a simple stripe dress into so much more with the tiered bottom, button sleeves, and tassels. In my personal experience and opinion neutral pieces and stripes will always come back. They're truly trends that last  forever. Remember when neons were a thing? We all knew that it was only going to last for a few season, at most. White, black, beige, and grey toned pieces are staple colors. Stripes as well! They may twist it up season to season but stripes are staying forever. When I look for piece that I know will last a long time, that's what I usually gravitate towards. It's fun to play with trends, but pieces that you can wear over and over makes every penny worth it. What are your favorite trends this fall? I love leopard so it's fun to see all the unique and creative pieces out there.

NEW LOOK OF CHUCK E. CHEESE...

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese's. The opinions and text are all mine.

For those you that grew up going to Chuck E. Cheese, remember how excited you would get walking through those doors and seeing the endless numbers of games and seeing Chuck E. come out to dance and throw tickets? I lived in California for the first 5 years of my life and majority of my memories were at Chuck E. Cheese. Fast forward 20+ years to where we are today and Chuck E. Cheese has a brand new look, atmosphere, games. My family and I attended the Grand Re-Opening of the Chuck E. Cheese Copperfield, Tx location last week and we had such a fun time. I was amazed at the new floor plans. The floors had lights wood, the sitting booths have been revamped, the space felt very open and well lit, and they took away the machine characters. A big focus on the new remodels for this store and other stores that they're remodeling is that they want Chuck E. to be more interactive. They want children to interactive with each other and Chuck E. They also built this light up dance board that you see Chloe playing on in the pictures above.

Our family tries to go to Chuck E. Cheese at least every other week. It's such a fun and easy place to play game, eat delicious pizza and salad (which is all made from scratch), and win tickets. They also offer an "all you can play" pass which is timed. With Liam, he'll go around to every game swiping his card and before we know it, he's out of points. With the "all you can play pass", he has an hour of endless number of games. Chloe was loving all of the slower rides, she at that age where she enjoys doing things like going to Chuck E. Cheese. I would say that the kids favorite part is seeing what prizes they can get with their tickets, Chuck E. Cheese is the only place that allows you to actually purchase the prizes. It's a penny per ticket. I always take advantage of this because when we're short 40/50 tickets I can easy purchase the prize instead of having Liam get disappointed or possibly cry.

Summer is coming to an end but I always try to treat my children when they're doing well in school. Liam starts in one week and he's so excited to start his first day or Pre-K. I think keeping a school/daily life balance is important for us because we both get a break. I get a break when they're in school and the kids get a break when they're back with me doing fun things. I made this board at home where they can earn trips to Chuck E. Cheese. They have to get 10 tally marks (from either doing great in school, behaving well, daily kind things, ect) and then I take them on a trip. It has been working really well for us and I hope it sticks.

Thank you so much for reading!

A PEACEFUL SUMMER GETAWAY TO SPLASHWAY...

This summer, our family was invited to spend the week at Splashway. I was nervous about bringing my children to the waterpark without Tommy so I invited my entire family to come help me. I had never been to Splashway before but have heard wonderful things. I have to start off by saying that this trip was so much more than I expected. It will forever be one of my favorite trips ever. Not only is Splashway a waterpark, they also have cabins, put put gold, laser tag, playground, campfires, movie nights on the lawn, lakes, golf carts, and more.

The entire trip is truly so calming and everything you would want in a summer vacation. I went with several other families and our cabins were all next to each other. All of our children would go from cabin to cabin playing, snacking on each other's food, and having fun. There were 10+ children total so you can imagine how much fun they were having. We were there for 3 days and our schedule looked something like this... We would wake up and have breakfast in our cabins. There was a full kitchen so my mom made us breakfast. Then we would get ready for the waterpark, which was the perfect size for us. It wasn't too big with long long lines and it wasn't too small. We got around in golf carts which my entire family enjoyed. There were slides and activities for all ages. There were 2 little kiddie spots for Chloe too. We stayed in our cabana whenever we needed a break and I highly suggest reserving one because it's such a great space to order food, let the children rest, and to have all of your belongings in one area. The water slides were such a thriller, Liam LOVED the slides. He has been talking about "the purple slide" ever since then. Splashway has a huge variety of meals, snacks, and drinks that you can order from. They also let you bring in your own food which we appreciated. The waterpark is near our cabin so when Chloe needed a nap for we needed a break, we would get in our golf carts and drive back to our cabin for an hour or two. After the waterpark, we had several options, I let the kids play on the playground and ride around the golf cart. There's a huge lawn area and one night we had a little glow stick party and roasted smores. Splashway also has a new restaurant on site and the food is delicious comfort food. I had the fried fish and it tasted so good.

My mom recently got married to her high school sweetheart after being being single for 10+ years. My stepdad is from Vietnam and came to the states last Christmas. Watching them on this trip made me feel so incredibly happy for them. My mom has always put her children first and never had time to do anything for herself. Watching my mom and dad play with their grandchildren in the wave pool and not having a single worry in the world made my heart cry. The entire trip was so relaxing and I'm thankful to have seen everyone spend time with each other and relax.

While I was there I kept telling Tommy that this is his dream family vacation. Tommy enjoys trips where it's relaxing, consist of playing football or soccer in the grass, fishing by the lake, and really anything that is outdoors. Not only does Splashway have a fun waterpark, it has tons of other activities and the perfect spot for your family to bond and enjoy each other. Splashway is still open for a few more weekends. LEARNING HOW TO TRULY LOVE MY BODY...

It has been a very long time since I've truly felt comfortable with how my body looks. After having children, it was easy for me to get back to my original weight but difficult to look "fit" and tone. Certain areas on my stomach had stretched skin and I went through 4+ years of not being okay with it. I think it's important to realize that your body has been through a lot and that you're going to have a few battle scars.

I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity to work with Maidenform because it has helped me feel confident and comfortable with how I look. I haven't purchased a bra in over 5 years so you can image how bad my old ones were, they weren't comfortable and there were so many days where I couldn't wait until I got home just so I could take my bra off. The Maidenform bras, especially the Everyday Modern Wireless one, is extremely comfortable. I feel that it hugs my chest just right and the straps feel like they aren't even there. The Sexy lace Cheeky Boyshorts also match both of my bra sets. I always stick to nude and black when choose my bra/panties because I don't have to worry about the color showing through my clothes. I'm guilty for wearing "grandma" panties everyday and it's because I haven't found a comfortable sexy panty. I can't rave enough about these lace panties. They don't show through your clothes, are high wasted, and are great for everyday.

I haven't reached my goal of what I want for my body but I've accepted the way that I am and I'm happy with how I look and feel. I truly feel that its important to truly love yourself. We're all beautiful and perfect in our own way.
