TOP: Madewell // SKIRT: Goodnight Macaroon // SHOES: Old (similar here) // BAG: Gucci // BRACELET: David Yurman

You know that one skirt that everyone has and is obsessed with? This is it! There are many times that I tell myself that "I don't want that sweater or skirt because everyone has it and I don't want to be basic". Well, today I don't care because there's a reason why everyone has this skirt. It's so chic and cute!! Leopard print has made such a huge comeback this year. There are so many different patterns,  color schemes, and styles. I believe that it'll always be a classic print, like stripes or camo. I use to think of leopard print as something you'd wear to the club. Now, it's such a chic and fun print to play with.

I have an exciting Friday planned. Liam has his Christmas program and party at school today. He has been singing and talking about Jesus for weeks. I also have a girlfriend's birthday dinner party tonight. I'm looking forward to having a few hours to myself tonight.

Happy Friday! Thank you so much for stopping by!

This may be one of my favorite outfits ever! When I bought this sweater the first way I knew how to style it was with a pair jeans and booties; a casual winter outfit. The first outfit is one that you can wear on a cold winter day. I added on a white beanie because who doesn't love a warm pom beanie. The heart pattern on this sweater was what drew my attention. The patterns makes it so fun and different. Plus, it's insanely soft!

If you don't have time to go home and change for a night out, you can easily pack two things that are probably in your closet now; a pair of nude pumps and a camel coat. When nighttime comes, the weather gets colder so a camel coat is needed. One tip that I will help dress up your casual outfit is to start off wearing white denim. White jeans can be worn casually but can also be easily dressed up.

I hope these tips help out! They are super simple and attainable.

Thank you so much for reading!

I'm so happy to finally share today's post. This is my first post with another blogger and it just happens to be one of my besties, Margret from Style The Girl. We're teaming up with Papyrus and sharing our day that was filled with baking cookies and writing letters to Santa with the children. With that being said, I hope you enjoy our post!

Happy Holidays Everyone!! This is Margret from Style The GirlAnnie and I are so excited to be guest bloggers for this year’s Papyrus’ 31 Days Of Cheer and hope you are too!!  The holiday season is one of our favorite times of the year to be with family and friends and create memories that will last a lifetime.  Both of our children are best friends and we do everything together.  This year we thought it would be super fun to have a little sugar cookie baking party to celebrate December and the holidays being officially here!!  With our two toddlers helping us out, we know a mess will surely follow, but it makes baking for Christmas that much sweeter.  Besides, messes MAKE memories!!

One of our favorite go to cookie recipes is the tried and true sugar cookie.  Not only does it allow our children to be creative, but it gives them the chance to utilize different colors and designs to make their cookies come to life.  The snowmans were their favorite. ;)

This will be Liam’s 4th Christmas and Sofia’s 3rd, and it is just so amazing to see the holidays through their eyes.  What was once such a special cookie making tradition for ourselves, has double tenfold with our babies.  They really are such a blessing and we love creating traditions with our besties.

Annie here from The Annie Issue! This is my second year partnering with Papyrus’ 31 Days of Cheer and I’m overjoyed to partner with Margret and Sofia this year. Our children are true best friends. If they go longer than a week without seeing each other, they’ll continually ask us when their next play date is. You can only imagine how happy they were to be able to bake cookies and write cards to Santa together. To follow what Margret has mentioned about traditions and friends and family, my cheer suggestion this year is to share your family traditions with someone new. I didn’t grow up with traditions and I wish I would of. Traditions create memories and excitement and should be shared with loved ones.
When Liam and Sofia were done decorating their cookies for Santa, they each “wrote” him a card. Aren’t their scribbles the best?! They’re both at that age where they understand Christmas, acknowledge who Santa Claus is, and are telling us what’s on their Christmas list. Papyrus has the cutest holiday cards. These adorable snowman ones were a hit with the children. We know Santa will love the cookies and cards.

Here is how we made our traditional sugar cookies. :)  We hope you love them too!!

For the cookie dough:
2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter,
  at room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
For the decorating icing:
2 cups confectioners sugar
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons warm water
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
2 or 3 drops food coloring (optional)
Colored sugars, sprinkles and/or candies
  for decorating
Mix the dry ingredients
In a bowl, using a wooden spoon, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
Beat the butter and sugar
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar on medium speed until creamy, about 3 minutes. Turn off the mixer and scrape down the bowl with a rubber spatula.
Add the egg and vanilla
Add the egg and vanilla and beat on medium speed until blended. Turn off the mixer and add the flour mixture. Beat on low speed just until blended. The dough will look lumpy, like moist pebbles.
Shape the dough
Dump the dough onto a work surface and press together into a solid mound. Divide in half. Press each pile into a flat disk. Wrap each disk in plastic wrap and refrigerate until well chilled, about 1 hour.
Roll out the dough
Preheat an oven to 350°F. Grease 3 baking sheets with butter.
Sprinkle a work surface with some flour. Unwrap 1 chilled disk of dough and place it on the floured surface. Sprinkle the top of the dough with a little more flour. Roll out the dough with your Papyrus “Dashing Through The Dough” rolling pin until it is about 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle more flour under and over the dough as needed so it doesn’t stick.
Cut out shapes
Cut a shape out of the dough with a all your festive holiday shapes. Set the cutout on a baking sheet. Repeat, cutting as close as possible to the previous shape and spacing the cutouts about 1 inch apart on the baking sheet. Set the scraps of dough aside and repeat with the second chilled disk of dough. Smash all the scraps together, roll the dough out and cut out more shapes.
Bake and cool the cookies
When 1 baking sheet is full, put it in the oven and bake the cookies until light brown around the edges, 10 to 12 minutes. Using oven mitts, remove the baking sheet from the oven and set it on a wire rack to cool for 15 minutes. Move the cookies onto the rack with a metal spatula and let cool completely. Repeat with the rest of the cookies.
Decorate the cookies using colored sugars, sprinkles and/or candies. Makes about 36 cookies that you can place on our festive Papyrus plates.

SWEATER: Evereve // BOTTOMS: AG // SHOES: Old (similar here) // HAT: Topshop // BAG: Gucci

Happy Monday! Can yall believe that Christmas is in 15 days?! I'm so excited for Chloe's first Christmas and Liam's first Christmas with Chloe. I'm pretty sure Liam's going to get double the presents because Chloe is way too young to realize what's going on. He constantly reminds me of all the things that he wants. I would feel like a horrible mom if I didn't get everything he been wishing for. Thankfully, it's only like 4 things and they are all affordable. I can't imagine what it'll be like in 12ish years when he's asking me for a PS5, or whatever number it'll be during that time.

The holiday season passes by so fast so I try to wear festive outfits all month long. This fuzzy sweater is one of the cutest holiday sweaters I've seen. It's discrete but still very festive. The colors are so neutral that I had to wear my beanie for a pop of red. Over the knee boots are a must for winter. They instantly elevate your outfit. These boots are old but I have two pairs from Goodnight Macaroon and they are the real deal! I'm 5'1 and they fit just right on me.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

COAT: Tularosa (similar here and here)// TOP: VICI // BOTTOMS: Old (similar here) // SHOES: Raye // BAG: Gucci

Trench coats are out and teddy coats are in! Just kidding, trench coats will forever be a classic piece but teddy coats are the new "must have" winter piece this season. They are insanely soft and warm and come in tons of different styles. I love how oversized they are because it's essential like carrying a huge throw over your body. I highly suggest purchasing a cream colored one because it'll be easy to match with your winter pieces. One way that I style my teddy coats is by wearing all black pieces underneath. It helps the tan color pop and you appear more slimming. I went out of my comfort zone with this outfit I'm sharing today. I wanted to make it look more edgy so I opted in for boyfriend jeans and white booties. I love how it turned out! What do yall think?

Thank you so much for stopping by!

My first gift guide of the season is live and is made specifically for the little babies in your life. This Christmas will be Chloe's first Christmas, so I had to share a couple of things that I had in mind for her. This gift guide is perfect for baby boys and baby girls (the plush and moccasins have more colors and styles). I'm going to start with a couple of items that I already own or have ordered.

Play & Activity Set: I ordered this for Chloe last week and can't wait for her to start using it. I love how modern and simple it is. (Liam had a huge colorful plastic one and it was so bulky and kind of crazy). This gym set is is made from natural wood therefore it's safer for Chloe.

Incredibundles: You might recognize Incredibundles from this previous blog post. They offer diaper, wipe, and book subscriptions. Gifting a diaper subscription is probably one of the most helpful and useful gifts of all. You can customize your subscription by choosing 3,6,9, or 12 months and by choosing your preferred diaper brand. Incredibundles carries a good variety of diapers so it's suitable for everyone. I'll take a huge box of diapers being delivered to my door monthly than running into a store with a baby any day.

Freshly Picked Moccasins: These are my favorite baby/toddler shoes ever!! Liam practically lived in them up until a few weeks ago when he grew out of the biggest size. The are adorable, come in a huge variety of style and colors, and are great for walkers.

Hunter Boots: Rainbows have saved me from cleaning off mud and wet shoes numerous times. These shoes are great because you don't have to worry about your babies getting their feet/shoes dirty or wet.

Toy Set: I personally think this is a great baby toy set because it has a little bit of everything. All the pieces are educational and makes shopping so much easier.

Rocker: I will never know why I never bought Liam a rocker. He always love it when we go into the store. Rockers can be used for several years and the babies love the motion of them. This one is adorable but it also comes in tons of other animal options.

I hope you were able to find a gift or two that you would like to give to that precious baby in your life. When it comes to fun gifts, the toy set and shoes are my top picks. When it comes to functional and important gifts the diaper subscription and gym set have to be at the top for me.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
