TRENDY AND AFFORDABLE FINDS WITH STAGE X THREDUP...

DRESS: thredUP // BAG: thredUP

TOP: thredUP // BOTTOMS: thredUP // HAT: thredUP

Happy Tuesday! This past weekend I went shopping at Palais Royal in Houston for the StagethredUP pop up shop. Margret (Style the Girl) and I went together and found tons of cute pieces. So many of yall were asking where the pop up shops were and what was offered. There will be 12 Stage stores that will have the thredUP popups. I’ve been shopping with thredUP for two years and absolutely love their selection and prices. thredUP is an online secondhand shopping site that offers well known brands up to 90% off. I was excited to hear that Stage stores would carry their pieces in stores because online shopping is sometimes difficult because you’re not able to try on items or see pieces in person. thredUP carries a huge variety of brands like J Crew, Loft, H&M, and Nordstrom for discounted prices. I’m a huge bargain shopper because trends are constantly changing and if I were to buy full price clothing all the time it wouldn’t be feasible. Whether I’m shopping for toys for the kids or buying gifts for my family, I ALWAYS try to find coupons or a better deal on my phone. With thredUP and Stage stores, I know that the prices are already discounted so it makes my shopping experience so much easier.

This chic leopard dress from J Crew was originally $150 and I snagged it for only $24! It’s actually a work dress, but I added a belt to make it shorter and my black cross body that I also picked up from the pop up to style it more casually. I also grabbed the jeans in my second outfit from the pop up. don’t think yall understand how happy I was when I tried them on. It’s difficult for me to find jeans that are actually my size and I was pretty shocked when I realized that these fit. While I was shopping at Palais Royal, I also found some cute holiday PJs for Liam and Chloe for 60% off.

I ran a poll a few weeks ago about what prices yall preferred when shopping; pieces that were over or under $50. A huge majority of everyone chose under $50. With winter arriving coats, sweaters, and holiday gifts can add up. Stage stores carries a huge variety of reasonably priced clothing, beauty products, and gifts for the entire family at great prices. If you're near Houston, Austin, or Dallas be sure to check up thredUP's pop up shops at select Stage locations. Here are all the locations!

PUMPKIN PATCH TRIP + 8 RANDOM THINGS...

CAMI: Topshop (old, newer one here) // CARDIGAN: Pink Lily // SHORTS: Madewell // SHOES: Nordstrom // Liam- TOP: J Crew // SHORTS: J Crew // SHOES: Freshly Picked // Chloe- DRESS: Rufflebutts // BOWS: Wunderkin // SHOES: Freshly Picked

We've taken tons of trips to the pumpkin patch but to be honest majority of them for the blog. We drove out of the city a few weeks ago to go to Old Time Christmas Tree Farm. Liam had a blast but it was insanely hot when we stepped into the sun. October is coming to an end so I figured I shared these adorable pictures with yall and share 12 random things about life and my family. These post are always so fun to do and yall seem to like them as well!

1) I've gone an entire month with raising two children alone! Everyone has been so sweet and saying I'm a super mom, but the truth is, I'm still struggling. I'm still trying to organize and divide my time accordingly. It has been a roller coaster but totally worth it. To clear things up, I do have tons of help from my family. When I say alone, I mean as a lone parent since Tommy is in Korea.

2) Liam is the sweetest big brother to Chloe. He's so loving towards her. I was confident that he'd be a great big brother but I never expected him to adore her so much.

3) I stay up until at least 1am every night to work on my blog. Between the two children, life, and emails, the only time I have time to myself is when they are in bed.

4). Chloe doesn't sleep in my bed but Liam still does. When I was pregnant, I knew I didn't want to co sleep with Chloe because it has been so difficult transitioning Liam out of my bed. Chloe sleeps in a bassinet next to me and I've been pretty strong about making sure she sleeps alone.

5) Work has been going so well since August. I've been blogging for 3 years and these past few months, I've been able to partner with brands that I love. I have an exciting collaboration to share with yall tomorrow. Be sure to come back tomorrow!

6) Seattle was a fall wonderland!! Not a lot of people think of Seattle as a fall destination trip but it should be at the top of your places to visit list. I have several blog post on Seattle coming soon too!

7) My postpartum body is still struggling. I haven't been able to get back to my workout routine as well as I did after I had Liam. A lot of that is from being extremely busy. I just need to get back to making workout an everyday task.

8) This video about girls in fall has literally made me cry! If you haven't seen it, you need to watch it.

CHLOE'S BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENTS...

CARDS: Basic Invite

Before social media was in this world, sharing the news of your newest family member was through cards. I personally love receiving cards. Whether it's a graduation, engagement, or new baby announcement, there's something special about receiving a card from your dear friends or family members.

I ordered these birth announcements off of Basic Invite and I absolutely love how they turned out. I was able to customize colors, size, and printing options. Foil cards have always been a favorite of mine so I knew I wanted Chloe's cards to have some foil details. I wanted to also share our family as a whole so I added a few more pictures on the back to personalize it. It was hard choosing which pictures to add to the cards but I'm glad I was able to choose multiples. When I ordered these cards I was amazed at the address capturing service. You can share a link on your social media accounts to request for your friends addresses then Basic Invite stores them and prints them onto the envelope! I was able to get everyone's addresses printed beforehand. It made it so much easier for me and saved a lot of time. There have been multiple times where I've gone online to create cards but stopped half way because there weren't enough designs or customization. With Basic Invite, it was extremely easy and I got exactly what I wanted. The holidays are right around the corner so I've already started to plan out some Christmas cards too!

I kept a card for Chloe's photo album and looking back, she has already changed so much. She's two months now and growing so fast. As a parent, I don't think you'll ever stop feeling that your children are growing up way too fast.

PRETTY IN PINK...

DRESS: Revolve (love this one!) // SHOES: Revolve // BAG: Gucci

Seattle is a fall dream! As soon as I left the airport it was a fall wonderland. The air was cold, leaves are skittle colored, and the city is beautiful. It reminds me of New York in some ways. I shared this sweater dress on my instagram stories before I left on my trip and it's sooo pretty! It caught my eye at first because Chloe has a sweater dress that's very similar and the pink and red colors are so pretty. I personally love wearing bright colors year round. I linked a couple pink and pastel colored sweaters that I have my eye on.

CHLOE'S NEWBORN PHOTOS...

PHOTOGRAPHY: Kelli Nicole

Chloe coming into this world was one of the best days of my life. She is so loved by her mom, dad, and especially her big brother. I'll forever hold these photos dear to my heart because Kelli capture how little and beautiful Chloe is. They are also our very first photos as a family of four. The newborn stage passes by so so quickly and that's what makes newborn photos so important to me. Looking at her now, she has already changed so much. I'm constantly looking back at Liam's newborn photos and I know I'll do the same with these as Chloe gets older.

When I found Kelli's page, I was immediately attracted to the clean and white tones of her photography. I knew I wanted more mute and white tones so the fit was perfect. When I had my consultation with Kelli, she asked all the right questions. She asked for a color palate, mood, styes, ect. I'm pretty sure I was all over the place but she manage to bring all my ideas to life. Before I had Chloe, I knew that I wanted a daughter. I had a Pinterest board dedicated to baby girl photos, outfits, rooms, ect. The flower circle was always a must have shot for me and I love how the images came out. Kelli was so patient and great with the kids. She had snacks for Liam, managed to make him smile, and easily put Chloe to sleep during the session. She captured the sweetest moments of my two babies and I'll cherish them forever.

MUST HAVE BOOTS...

DRESS: Revolve // SHOES: Goodnight Macaroon (40% off) // BAG: Gucci // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker

Honestly, if I could wear any outfit combination for fall, it would be a cute sweater dress and over the knee boots. The outfit is effortless and chic. I've been posting these boots a lot on my Instagram because they are amazing! I was skeptical about ordering them first because I usually only buy my shoes in person but luckily I had a friend that already owned them. She let me borrow them for the weekend and I ordered them within 1 hour of trying them out. The quality is great, it's flattering, and was 40% off at the time (it's 40% off again). I do have to say that my calves have always been a little thicker and they were pretty snug in that area. I've owned 3 pairs of OTK boots and have always had issues of them sliding down. I didn't have any problems with these.

COLORED STRIPES FOR FALL...

DRESS: Pink Lily (maroon tone here) // SHOES: Goodnight Macaroon // BAG: Tory Burch

I'm glad everyone got up to speed with how great stripes are. It seems like the "it" prints for fall this year are leopard, camo, and colorful stripes. When I got this dress in, I was a little intimidated because it was a body con type and I was about 2 weeks postpartum. After trying it on, I immediately fell in love. It was flattering on me and didn't show all my left over postpartum fat. I do have to admit that I did size up to a medium so I could have more room but I think I could have gotten away with a small.

The kids and I are having a somewhat slow day today. We have lunch and then nothing else planned. We've been so busy that it'll be so nice to sit down and relax.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
