LEOPARD LOVER OR NO?...

DRESS: Nordstrom // JACKET: Topshop // SHOES: Cole Hann // BAG: Gucci // BRACELET: Victoria Emerson

I'm back!! I feel like I've been saying that for my last couple of post but I'm 100% back to writing my weekly post about fashion, lifestyle, beauty, family, and anything else that I love. I'm so sad to inform everyone that this is my very last pregnancy outfit post. This outfit was shared on my Instagram a few times from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. Even though some of these pieces aren't on sale anymore, the dress is still only $45 and the jacket is under $100.

My shoes are a little bit of a splurge but I think they are totally worth it. I for one, am so happy that leopard is a thing this fall. I've always been a huge fan of leopard regardless of the numerous times my husband makes fun of me. I remember having tons of leopard scarves and each one of them were slightly different from the other. Leopard is a classic print, just like stripes! Don't yall agree? It's the perfect way to combine a black and brown outfit. Which were two colors you were supposedly never meant to be worn together. I'm not sure who made up that rule because black and brown/cognac outfits are so chic and flattering in the fall. To be honest, when I first got these shoes, the first thing I did was go to pinterest and look up "leopard booties fall outfits". So many different outfits popped up and I was instantly inspired. If you're tempted to try out some leopard print pieces but want to dip your toes in first, I think these are a great option. They aren't as loud and are practical for everyday and every season. I would love to see how yall style leopard print pieces for the fall. I need some more inspiration.

FINAL DAYS OF PREGNANCY...

DRESS: Free People (similar here) // SHOES: Rebecca Minkoff (old, new version here) // BAG: Cult Gaia // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // BRACELET: David Yurman & Victoria Emerson

Happy Tuesday! I'm down to my final days of pregnancy life. Baby C is suppose to be due the 27th but my doctor said she can arrive any day now. My doctor even thinks she'll be here in less than a week! Tommy comes back to us next Wednesday and I really hope I can hold her in for 5 more days because I'm not about to push this baby out alone. My mom will be there, of course, but it's not the same. These past couple of weeks haven't been the easiest. Between moving into a new house, getting ready for the baby, and life it has been non stop. Sleeping and walking around is even difficult because my belly is SO HUGE. My belly is bigger now than when I carried Liam, even with me gaining less weight this time around. I know on social media, it seems like it's easy and bump outfits are so precious but this is the reality of it... I have several stretch marks, been wearing the same 3 dresses, have horrible heart burn, use the bathroom every hour, and have been having slight pressure pains throughout the day. Even though it's all difficult, I would do it all over again for my babies. Pregnancy is both beautiful and difficult. It's bittersweet that this journey is coming to an end but our family is so ready for Chloe to be here and to start all over with raising a newborn baby.

OUR LAST MINI SUMMER VACATION AT THE WOODLANDS RESORT...

With Baby C's due date approaching so soon, I knew I wanted to take one last vacation with Liam and our friends. I also knew that it wouldn't be idea for me to travel far in case something happened so when the idea of visiting The Woodlands Resort came up, I was all for it. It's less than an hour from Houston, the area is calm and peaceful (not like the city), and I personally love visiting the Woodlands area.

We went with several of my Mom friends and their babies for 3 days/2nights. It was the perfect length of time for us. When traveling with children, I prefer to stay in one place. At the resort, there were tons of activities for both the children and adults that were on the property. Liam absolutely loved all the different types of pools. The slides and children's splash pad area was probably his favorite. They have this cute little homemade ice-cream shop there and the babies were loving it! They even hosted movie night at the pool area!

On our second day we had a cabana and it was life changing!! When you're with a bunch of toddlers, break time is essential! Having a private area to rest, eat lunch, and to relax, made the world of a difference. It was the first time that we've ever spent time at a private cabana and I can't even imagine not getting one in the future. I'm pretty sure we were at the cabana/pool area for 5+ hours the second day.

Liam and I had our own room and the view was just beautiful! We overlooked the golf course and fountain area. Liam's favorite thing to do when we were staying at a resort is to call room service to order his chicken nuggets and to jump on the beds.

Tommy comes back in a few weeks and I really want to take him to visit because I know he'll have the best time. We've haven't seen each other in 6+ months! We're all counting down the days until our family is whole.

*Thank you to The Woodlands Resort for having us! As always, all opinions are my own.

SHIFT DRESS AND BOOTIES...

DRESS: Chicwish // SHOES: Sam Edelman // BAG: Gucci

One of my favorite and most common go to outfits in the fall consist of a cute shift dress and booties. I've worn so many different combinations of shift dresses and booties that my sister actually makes fun of me. She's always telling me that I choose the same type of clothing. This is true, but if it timeless, easy, and trendy, why not? I'm loving this eyelet dress for transitioning into the fall because it's super comfy and it won't make you sweat like crazy. Yall all know that Chicwish is one of my favorite places to shop. There prices are so good and you can't beat the quality. This dress isn't maternity at all but is very comfortable on my oversize baby bump. It also comes in white

I've also been a little MIA on the blog but I promise I'll get better. We started moving into the new house a few weeks ago and between getting blinds, decorations, unpacking, and setting up for the baby, it's been super crazy. I have a doctors appointment today and I'm anxious to see if Baby C is ready to come out. I've already dilated 1 1/2 cm at week 36! My doctor thinks she'll come early but who knows. I'm hoping she'll wait for her Dad to come home first. Tommy comes home soon and Liam and I seriously can not wait!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
