GRABBING YOUR BASICS FROM THE #NSALE

TEE: BP // CARDIGAN: BP // JEANS: AG // SHOES: Sam Edelman // BAG: Gucci // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker

I'M FINALLY WEARING BOTTOMS!! I know this post is about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale but I had to share details on my first pair of maternity jeans. I got these jeans about 2 weeks ago and it has literally changed my life. They are SOOOO comfortable and flattering. I absolutely love AG Jeans and their maternity line is just as good as their normal one. I've always hear great things about AG maternity jeans and they met up to par. If you're pregnant, I highly suggest investing in a pair.

If you didn't already know, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is going on (if you're not familiar with the #nsale, refer to this post). Every one and every blogger out there is talking about it and for good reasons. I went shopping the first day and grabbed tons of goodies. I would say that 90% of everything I bought were fall staple pieces. Those pieces include tees, booties, and cardigans. With those 3 pieces, you can create endless amounts of outfits. Jeans are also a great fall staple. There are so many great jean selections this year. I personally didn't grab any because 1. I'm pregnant and 2. I have no idea how long it's going to take me to lose the baby weight after giving birth. I grabbed this short sleeve tee this year (I grabbed the long sleeve version last year and wore it to death) and it's only $11! It comes in tons of color and can be worn now. For Fall, you can throw on any jacket, cardigan, scarf, or wear it alone.

I buy a BP cardigan every year because they are at such a great price, a classic piece, and come in tons of color. I grabbed this tan one this year because I was really loving on all the neutral colored items. I wear cardigans when I'm at home because they are so cozy. With cardigans, you can throw it over a cute little body con dress and boots or even layer it over a sweater.

SHOES, SHOES, SHOES! I'm a shoe obsessed girl. I always shop for shoes first because a pair or two will last me through Fall and winter! I try to grab staple shoes that will match everything. I was telling all my girlfriends that I buy most of my fall/winter shoes during the sale. After the sale ends,  I'll probably only buy another pair until next spring.

If you haven't already grabbed these fall staples, go and get them now before they sell out! You won't regret it!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

COTTON CANDY COLORS...

DRESS: Free People (love this one) (black and white on sale here!) // SHOES: Rebecca Minkoff (newer version here and love this one) // BAG: Tory Burch // BRACELET: David Yurman & David Yurman

I know I've been slacking on my post lately but life has been so busy. Things are finally starting to settle down now that I'm back in Houston. We move into our new house in a few weeks and I'm so excited to be able to settle in a home where I know I'll be living for at least 2 years. Ever since I was a freshman in college, I've never lived in a place for longer than a year. That's right, I've moved from city to city or state to state 7 times in the past 7 years. Liam has never had a home longer than a year as well because that's the military lifestyle.

Anyways, I wanted to share this off the shoulder dress because I'm obsessed with the colors. I love anything that is baby blue, especially when there a little pink thrown in it. The colors remind me of cotton candy, whimsical fun, and summery vibes. Surprisingly, I still bought an XS. I ALWAYS size down in Free People and I would suggest doing the same for this dress. (It also comes in black and white and they are both on sale). I wore my nude studded sandals with it for an easy casual outfit. These sandals were insanely popular when they came out. They are so comfortable (these are my second pair). There's a newer version of them here. I also found some super cute clear studded sandals here

Is everyone excited for the anniversary sale?! I'll already be sharing looks tomorrow and I seriously can not wait!! Be sure to follow me on Instagram for a first look.

STAYING COMFORTABLE...

DRESS: Anthropologie (old, love this one) // SHOES: Revere // BAG: Tory Burch

Happy Monday! Liam and I have officially moved back to Houston from living in San Antonio for the past month and a half. Even though I absolutely love San Antonio, I’m glad to be back. We move into our new house in about two weeks and there’s so much to be done. I’m going to attempt to set up everything before baby C is here.

I’ve been so busy with life the past two months. I can finally relax during these last two months of pregnancy. During my first week of school, I didn’t realize how much walking I’d be doing on campus. I usually wear my leather sandals but started to notice aching and roughness at the soles of my feet after a few days. I started to wear more comfortable shoes on days where I knew I’d be spending a lot of time of my feet. I never realized how much time I spent walking, not just at school but also when I’d take Liam to the park or store. My revere shoes have been so so comfortable. The support and soft cushion that it gives is life changing. I feel like I was walking on pillows. If you haven’t heard of Revere, I’d definitely check out their site. They offer tons of cute and comfy sandals, flats and booties.

We went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas when my family visited me and I was probably on my feet for 5 straight hours. I’ve never been big on sneakers during the summer because my feet get so hot so my revere sandals are perfect! This boy just loves being outdoors and doing new things, especially with his Aunt and cousins. Going to the amusement park 7 months pregnant isn’t ideal but I see it as a win win because he gets to enjoy summer and I’m essentially forced to get my exercise in. Which, I believe is important during pregnancy.

Thank you so much for reading!
