DRESS: VICI (have my eye on this one) // SHOES: VICI // BAG: VICI

We’re heading back home from our little getaway at the Woodlands Resort today. Vacation mode is officially over. The next few weeks will be spent getting the new house ready and preparing for Baby C’s big arrival.

It was been insanely hot in Houston and I’m already ready for cooler weather. I’m already trying to plan all these fall trips. Even though I’m not able to wear sweaters and blanket scarves, there are multiple ways to start transitioning my outfits for fall. I order a couple of things from VICI Dolls a few weeks ago and I’m seriously in love with everything that I received. I’ve been wanting to order some things from them for awhile and I’m so glad I did. They’re prices are SO SO good and the quality is up to par. I personally love their unique selection. You can’t really find there pieces anywhere else. I knew this stripe dress would be ideal to wear now and style as a fall outfit. I’m wearing a small and it fits really well (even with my big baby bump). White booties seemed to be the best choice to pair with the darker tones. I felt so edgy with my white booties. I’ve been wanting to try out this trend for awhile and I’m so glad I decided to do it. I’ve had so many compliments from my friends.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DRESS: Madewell // SHOES: Marc Fisher // Liam- TOP: J Crew // SHORTS: J Crew // SHOES: Freshly Picked

Another year has flown by and this boy still cease to amaze me. Liam has the biggest personality and I absolutely love it. He's silly like his dad and witty like me. Liam has accomplished so much in the past year it's unbelievable. He has learned two languages, potty on his own, memorize family and friends and be independent. He is a Momma's boy at heart but he so capable to doing so many things on his own. I've tried to cherish these past few months with Liam because in a few short weeks he will no longer be an only child. Liam is extremely helpful when it comes to helping me out during pregnancy and being a solo mom with dad being in a different country. I'm confident that he's going to be a strong, loving, and supportive big brother.

Liam is always growing and changing so I try my best to document everything for both of us to remember. Liam currently is OBSESSED with superheroes, especially Marvel characters. I'd say his favorite is Iron Man and Captain America. He has so many marvel toys that it's hard to keep count of. Liam loves to go to target to buy toys. I'm pretty sure it's one of his favorite places.

He loves water parks and being outside. It may be boiling hot here but it doesn't seem to bother him at all. Liam has made so many new friends this year and his best friends are Jayden and Sophia. I'm thankful that he has tons of toddler friends to play with. They entertain each other but they also teach each other right from wrong. Liam was horrible at sharing as soon as he turned two but he's pretty much learned to share most of his toys and be kind to others.

As much as I would like to think that my son loves hanging out with me, his favorite family person is definitely his Auntie. He literally chooses my sister over me any day. They are so goofy and playful with each other.

Another person that Liam absolutely loves is his dad. When I realized that Liam still remembered his Dad after limited Skype time, I was so shocked. They have weekly conversations and are always so funny towards each other. Liam will never forget his Dad, regardless of how long they go without speaking to each other.

I'm beyond thankful for Liam. I thank God daily that he's healthy, happy, and alive. Liam is my whole world and watching him grow up is more than I can ask for. He's becoming such a big boy. As much as I want him to stay little forever, I can't wait to see all the things he accomplishes. I hope he has the best birthday yet!

SWEATER: BP // JEANS: AG (these are on sale) // SHOES: Sam Edelman (TTS)

Color block sweaters seem to be the newest "trend" for fall. I personally love color block sweaters because it allows you to mix and play with multiple colors. This one is about $30 and it's super soft. I added my black knee high boots to pull the dark tones together. Stick to your normal size for an oversize fit, I'm wearing a small.

You can style this tee with a scarf, cardigan, jacket, or wear it alone.

TEE: BP // CARDIGAN: BP // JEANS: AG // SHOES: Sam Edelman // BAG: Gucci // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker

I'M FINALLY WEARING BOTTOMS!! I know this post is about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale but I had to share details on my first pair of maternity jeans. I got these jeans about 2 weeks ago and it has literally changed my life. They are SOOOO comfortable and flattering. I absolutely love AG Jeans and their maternity line is just as good as their normal one. I've always hear great things about AG maternity jeans and they met up to par. If you're pregnant, I highly suggest investing in a pair.

If you didn't already know, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is going on (if you're not familiar with the #nsale, refer to this post). Every one and every blogger out there is talking about it and for good reasons. I went shopping the first day and grabbed tons of goodies. I would say that 90% of everything I bought were fall staple pieces. Those pieces include tees, booties, and cardigans. With those 3 pieces, you can create endless amounts of outfits. Jeans are also a great fall staple. There are so many great jean selections this year. I personally didn't grab any because 1. I'm pregnant and 2. I have no idea how long it's going to take me to lose the baby weight after giving birth. I grabbed this short sleeve tee this year (I grabbed the long sleeve version last year and wore it to death) and it's only $11! It comes in tons of color and can be worn now. For Fall, you can throw on any jacket, cardigan, scarf, or wear it alone.

I buy a BP cardigan every year because they are at such a great price, a classic piece, and come in tons of color. I grabbed this tan one this year because I was really loving on all the neutral colored items. I wear cardigans when I'm at home because they are so cozy. With cardigans, you can throw it over a cute little body con dress and boots or even layer it over a sweater.

SHOES, SHOES, SHOES! I'm a shoe obsessed girl. I always shop for shoes first because a pair or two will last me through Fall and winter! I try to grab staple shoes that will match everything. I was telling all my girlfriends that I buy most of my fall/winter shoes during the sale. After the sale ends,  I'll probably only buy another pair until next spring.

If you haven't already grabbed these fall staples, go and get them now before they sell out! You won't regret it!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

DRESS: Free People (love this one) (black and white on sale here!) // SHOES: Rebecca Minkoff (newer version here and love this one) // BAG: Tory Burch // BRACELET: David Yurman & David Yurman

I know I've been slacking on my post lately but life has been so busy. Things are finally starting to settle down now that I'm back in Houston. We move into our new house in a few weeks and I'm so excited to be able to settle in a home where I know I'll be living for at least 2 years. Ever since I was a freshman in college, I've never lived in a place for longer than a year. That's right, I've moved from city to city or state to state 7 times in the past 7 years. Liam has never had a home longer than a year as well because that's the military lifestyle.

Anyways, I wanted to share this off the shoulder dress because I'm obsessed with the colors. I love anything that is baby blue, especially when there a little pink thrown in it. The colors remind me of cotton candy, whimsical fun, and summery vibes. Surprisingly, I still bought an XS. I ALWAYS size down in Free People and I would suggest doing the same for this dress. (It also comes in black and white and they are both on sale). I wore my nude studded sandals with it for an easy casual outfit. These sandals were insanely popular when they came out. They are so comfortable (these are my second pair). There's a newer version of them here. I also found some super cute clear studded sandals here

Is everyone excited for the anniversary sale?! I'll already be sharing looks tomorrow and I seriously can not wait!! Be sure to follow me on Instagram for a first look.

DRESS: Anthropologie (old, love this one) // SHOES: Revere // BAG: Tory Burch

Happy Monday! Liam and I have officially moved back to Houston from living in San Antonio for the past month and a half. Even though I absolutely love San Antonio, I’m glad to be back. We move into our new house in about two weeks and there’s so much to be done. I’m going to attempt to set up everything before baby C is here.

I’ve been so busy with life the past two months. I can finally relax during these last two months of pregnancy. During my first week of school, I didn’t realize how much walking I’d be doing on campus. I usually wear my leather sandals but started to notice aching and roughness at the soles of my feet after a few days. I started to wear more comfortable shoes on days where I knew I’d be spending a lot of time of my feet. I never realized how much time I spent walking, not just at school but also when I’d take Liam to the park or store. My revere shoes have been so so comfortable. The support and soft cushion that it gives is life changing. I feel like I was walking on pillows. If you haven’t heard of Revere, I’d definitely check out their site. They offer tons of cute and comfy sandals, flats and booties.

We went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas when my family visited me and I was probably on my feet for 5 straight hours. I’ve never been big on sneakers during the summer because my feet get so hot so my revere sandals are perfect! This boy just loves being outdoors and doing new things, especially with his Aunt and cousins. Going to the amusement park 7 months pregnant isn’t ideal but I see it as a win win because he gets to enjoy summer and I’m essentially forced to get my exercise in. Which, I believe is important during pregnancy.

Thank you so much for reading!
