MUCH NEEDED BREAK + AMAZING NEWS...

These past couple of days, I took an unexpected break from my phone. I'm usually pretty consistent with my social media post and website updates, but a little surprise was headed my way. My phone completely froze and I was unable to use the screen at all. Siri was my life savior. I had to send all messages, emails, and calls through her. The screen randomly stopped, but I'm pretty sure it was from Liam's little baseball arm. I told myself that there was nothing I could do but to wait for my new phone. I took advantage of that time and decided that it would be best to break off all connections for a couple of days to spend quality time in reality. I have to say, it was extremely nice. We went out to lunch, dinner, watched Sing (which is so cute!), and spent a lot of time at home. I didn't see too much of a difference as far as being present around my family (mainly because I try to manage my time accrodingly), but it was nice not having to check up on any updates. 

In other news...I'm happy to announce that I have been offered a full time position at my favorite jewelry retailer...KENDRA SCOTT! A new location is opening this week and I'll be apart of the management team. My husband I and are both extremely thrilled about this. I worked for Kendra Scott while I was in college and absolutely loved it! I'm still really close friends with several of my previous co-workers. What's funny is that my best friend also became apart of the management team at her store! I was joking and said that we're literally the perfect best friends. It's an amazing company to work for; there are endless amounts of opportunities, great people, and above all beautiful jewelry! I start this week and I'm so excited to help guide this team to success. If you're ever in the Denver area, make sure to stop by one of our stores to come say hi!
