SAGE...

TOP: Nordstrom // BOTTOMS: AG (similar here) // SHOES: Marc Fisher // BAG: Cult Gaia // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker (dupes here)

This top is life! It's the most flattering off the shoulder top that I own. There's a built in bra and the fit is spot on. I'm wearing a small, but I'd size up if you have a bigger bust. The sage color is so pretty and pops even more with white denim. I've been wearing jeans a lot because spring in Colorado isn't exactly like spring in the south. It's actually suppose to snow Saturday, ugh. Before I ramble on, I want to let yall know that my Cult Gaia back is available for preorder! A little tip, wait for the email subscription to pop up to get %15 off your first purchase. This past weekend when I was visiting my friend Lena, I had so many people ask me what my bag was. They were confused on whether or not it was a bag, lol.  With that said, I had a lot of sweet comments on how awesome and unique it looked. I'm still thinking about getting another one in a color. While I was visiting, we were also so eager to dress up in our spring clothes for our days out. Even though it was probably not the best time to wear spring clothes, we did anyway. We got a few looks, but oh well, lol.

A LITTLE MORE FLARE...

TOP: Shein (less than $20!) // BOTTOMS: Articles of Society // SHOES: Marc Fisher // BAG: Mar Y Sol // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker (dupes here)

At this point, I don't even care that I have over 50 pieces of stripe clothing in my closet. Every time I attempt to branch out, that cute stripe off the shoulder top is in the corner of my eye calling my name.  I do stop myself from buy simple stripe pieces because I already have all of those staples in my closet. I didn't any hesitation when I saw this top because of how different it was. I'm OBSESSED with the ruffle flares on this top. The asymmetrical ruffles on the side is so fun and makes this top unique. I wore this outfit during my girls weekend. It was a little chilly so the long sleeves, kept me from freezing.

I drove up to my sorority sister's place for the weekend and we had so much fun! We got brunch, went shopping, explored Fort Collins, grabbed drinks, and watched Fast and Furious 8. We both love the Fast and Furious movies! We caught up on life and talked about our old college days. My ID expired last month so it was really fun attempting to get a mimosa. I got denied twice, it was frustrating. I haven't been ID in forever (but I also haven't really went out for a drink in forever, lol). I mean, do I look like I'm under 21? Anyways, it was a much needed girls weekend. On my way home I was counting the miles until I saw Liam and Tommy. I missed them so much!! Liam came running into my arms with yogurt all over his face, lol. Tomorrow, we're going to have a full day just for him.

MY FAVORITE SWEATER...

TOP: Free People (on sale for under $60!) // BOTTOMS: Articles of Society // SHOES: Jeffrey Campbell // BAG: Tory Burch // Liam- TOP: Zara // SHORTS: Ralph Lauren // SHOES: Freshly Picked

If you would have told me to buy a sweater after the month of February last year, I would have told you you were crazy. When you're no longer living in the south, the weather can actually get in the low 40's! I was told by several locals that we could still get a few snowfall through out May. Yes...MAY! When I think of sweaters, I think fall, winter, and dark hues. The easiest way to incorporate your cold weather outfit for spring is simple; wear bright or pastel colors with your favorite wedges. I saw this sweater a lot during the winter but never tried it on. When it went on sale, I thought I go outside of my neutral comfort zone and try a color. This aqua color is absolutely beautiful. I'm not even dramatizing, it's so pretty and is a STEAL!! I like the oversized fit on mine, I probably could have even gone for a small (I'm wearing an XS). I started wearing wedges in February with white jeans and long sleeve tops because I couldn't wait to start styling for spring. Obviously if it's freezing or snowing, I'd opt in for a pair of hunter boots.

TFIG! (If you heard me say that out loud, I'd sound like a loser, lol). Today is the last work day for me! I think I've put over 40 hours into work, and thats just Monday-Friday. I'm actually having a girls weekend with one of my sorority sisters. I haven't had a night out in 21 months! I'm not complaining at all! I love staying home to care for Liam and to watch every single growing step, but having a weekend off every now and then is important too. Plus, Liam and Tommy will have quality father and son time. I'm hoping to come back to happy boys and really a clean house. Isn't that the dream? A clean house, lol.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

POM POMS

TOP: J Crew (25% off) // BOTTOMS: Articles of Society // SHOES: Christian Louboutin // BAG: Gucci (cheaper version here) // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker (dupes here

When I first saw this sweatshirt, I thought it would be perfect for running errands and lounging around. Then I thought how dressy and comfy it would look with a pair of distressed jeans and my favorite nude pumps. I just love how all the pieces tied together look effortlessly chic. You can also add a white or stripe button up underneath for a layered look. The little poms make this sweatshirt! I wore it with a pair of shorts and sandals the other day and had so many people ask me where my sweatshirt was from. It also comes in white. (it runs small, I'm wearing a medium for a looser fit).

I shared a few pieces that I bought and got in the mail yesterday on my Instagram. If you missed it, I linked it under the "Instagram Stories" slider above my picture on the home page. This pink bag is probably the one I'm most excited about. I had a difficult time deciding between yellow and pink, but yall really helped me make my decision. Nothing like a bright pink bag to welcome spring. It's made of real leather and comes in several colors. The shape and style reminds me of my Gucci disco bag but for a fraction of the cost.

This week is insanely busy for me. I'm busy pretty much all day Monday-Friday. This weekend will be the first weekend that I'll be leaving Liam. I'm visiting my friend Lena and staying at her place overnight. The longest I've ever been away from Liam was about 10 hours! I already know I'm going to miss him like crazy. Lena has plans for us, so lets hope we'll be too busy for me to be a crybaby.

OUR EASTER DAY...

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Our family had such a memorable day. Tommy was deployed during Easter last year, so this was our first Easter as a family. We've been searching for a church that we both felt comfortable with and I think we found it yesterday. It's a little ways out there but it's at the top of our list. We're trying out another church next Sunday that's a little closer to our house.

After we got home from church, Liam started his easter egg hunt. Liam had picked out this massive Minions Easter basket at target. It was so adorable watching him drag it around the yard, throwing easter eggs in it. Tommy and I were shocked by how interested he was in finding the eggs. He was running around the house looking everywhere for more easter eggs. I never celebrated Easter growing up (mainly because majority of my family are buddhist), but now that I have a family of my own, these days are so much more special to me. Watching Liam's face light up as he ran around the living room with his dad made my heart melt. We bought a Nemo easter egg set and it's perfect for toddlers. I did most of the dye, while Liam was putting stickers on the eggs, his body, his face, and the dining table. Tommy also thought it would be hilarious to slip his old Christmas jimmies on so his button up wouldn't get dirty. We spent the rest of the day eating every single piece of candy we could put our hands on, watching Trolls, and playing with Liam. He loves to play with his dinosaur toys, bubbles, and says juice while pointing at the fridge when he's thirsty. He's growing up way to fast for me to handle. I've accepted that he's no longer a baby, and that he's a toddler. Of course, he'll always be my little baby.
