FLORALS...

TUNIC: Free People // SHOES: Dolce Vita // BAG: Henri Bendel // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker  // BRACELETS: David Yurman

There are no words that describe how happy I am that today is Friday. Not because it's "Friday" but because my day off has finally arrived. This entire week has been hectic and busy. It was actually nice to get back to being busy and planning/scheduling, but at the same time, I miss my quality time at home with Liam. Liam is out running errands with me, but it's not the same when he's in the backseat.  If you follow my snapchat, you'll notice that going to our local The Little Gym has been the highlight of our days. I try to take him as much as possible, and Tommy and I take him every Saturday. I think Tommy enjoys it more than me, lol. Liam has learned the head, shoulders, knees, and toes song, 3 different types of rolls, hangs on bars, he listens to the instructor very well, and interacts with tons of children. If you have a "The Little Gym" in your location, I highly recommend it.

AND...to get to today's outfit, tunics and OTK boots. This tunic is so pretty and reminds me of spring... I love the floral and butterflies. If you wear it as a dress, like I have, I highly recommend wearing an insert. When it's breezy, the wind will literlly blow your top up, lol. White jeans and sandals would look really cute with this top too!

Thank you so much for reading!

EASY & CHIC..

DRESS: Nordstrom // SHOES: Marc Fisher // BAG: Gucci // SUNGLASSES: BP // EARRINGS: Baublebar

I really love this simple but chic outfit for spring. Adding these wedges to any outfit really helps dress it up, with little effort. I know I've been on an all pink kick lately, but look forward to a lot of blues in the next few weeks. I ordered a few items for spring yesterday (that i'll add in the shop bar below) and they are all under $50! Warning! During the spring, I'm in dress and rompers 90% of the time.

POPS OF NEUTRALS...

COAT: Chicwish (under $100) // TOP: Old (love this one) // BOTTOMS: Articles of Society // SHOES: Christian Louboutin // BAG: Gucci // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker

First off, I know I've been on a neutral frenzy lately, or always actually, lol. Tan and white hues are classic and feminine. When this coat came in the mail, I was amazed by the quality of it. It's thick, soft, beautiful, and does the job (keepS you warm). For under $100, you really can't beat that. An all black or all white outfit looks really pretty with it because it makes the coat pop.

Liam is turning 19 months soon and with me going back to work soon, I thought I get him started in some preschool programs. I signed him up at our Little Gym and I think he's going to have so much fun playing and interacting with other babies. Our first class is tomorrow morning. I'm not prepared to leave him at all, I've spent his entire life by his side. It's going to be so hard. Pray for me.

Happy Friday!

Annie

SPRING READY IN PINK...

TOP: Shein // BOTTOMS: Articles of Society // SHOES: Marc Fisher (must have!) // BAG: Tory Burch // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker

I often gravitate towards blues and neutrals, but pink and white have been my colors lately. It's probably because I'm craving spring. Now that I've lived in a state where there's actually a "winter", I appreciate spring so much more, lol. It's still cold here, so I can't opt in for dresses just yet. Instead, I've been wearing pastel sweaters, white denim, and my favorite wedges. These wedges are the best for transitioning into spring! They are surprisingly comfortable and make you took taller (that's a bonus for us short girls). I found them in stock in all sizes here. I'd grab them before they sell out! (Oh, and that red spot on my nose is from Liam accidentally scratching me....mom life, lol).

CONFIDENT SMILE

CARDIGAN: Shein // TOP: Topshop // JEANS: Topshop // SHOES: Dolce Vita // BAG: Gucci // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // EARRINGS: Baublebar // TEETH WHITENING: Smile Brilliant

If you've followed me for awhile you'll know that I'm intrigued and fassicinated with the anatomy of teeth. I know, it sounds super weird, lol. I get asked a lot of questions why my major is communication with a minor in biology. They are two totally different majors, I knew I loved writing, media, press, public relations, blogging, but I also knew that I would one day pursue a career in the dental field. One thing that I continue to take care of are my teeth. I had first gotten my teeth whitened in high school at the dentist and it was life changing. I no longer felt uncomfortable about my smile looking yellow. 7 years and 1,000 starbuck drinks later,  I'm right back to square one, lol.

I've heard of teeth whitening stripes that were sold in drug stores, but was iffy about it. I was introduced to Smile Brilliant, and after reading up on it, I decided to give it a try. When I received the package, I made a molding of my teeth for the trays to get made. It was super easy and took less than 10 minutes. After I mailed the moldings back, I received a clear tray. There are gel applications that you put in your tray and wear for a few hours. I was very impressed because it was the same process that I had gotten done at the dentist. My teeth were sensitive for awhile, but it went back to normal. I loved the whole process of it, it was easy, quick, and I saw results. For someone that takes tons of pictures to share with the world, having a whiter smile helps, lol. Not only that, it makes me feel confident and well presented. (I attached photos below to show the results that I had!) Here is a video if you have any questions. If yall have any further questions about my experience with using Smile Brilliant, feel free to comment below or email me!

I'm giving away $140 worth of Smile Brilliant products on my Instagram today, follow along for details (www.instagram.com/anniemescall).

PASSING DOWN OUR VALENTINE'S TRADITIONS...

DRESS: Topshop // SHOES: Steve Madden // BRACELETS: David Yurman & David Yurman // GOLD BOX: Godiva // HEART BOX: Godiva // Liam- TOP: Old Navy // JEANS: Old Navy // SHOES: Freshly Picked //

Valentine's Day has always held a special place in my heart. Whether it was spent with family, best friends, or with Tommy, I always enjoyed the day of Love. I can still remember mine and Tommy's first Valentine's Day together. He took me to dinner on the river walk in San Antonio and it was such a sweet romantic date. He gave me my very first gold box from Godiva and I about died. There is something so special and exciting about receiving a shiny gold box of Godiva chocolate. Since then, which was 5 years ago, he has given me a gold box (preferably the milk chocolate one) every Valentine's Day.

Now that we have Liam on this special day, we are sharing our traditions with him. When he first saw the gold box, he immediately knew that there were treats inside. I saved the gold box for him to open on Valentine's Day, but we opened the pink heart box immediately. His face lit up as soon as I opened it! When Liam gets excited, he has the biggest cheesy smile, shakes his fist in a fast paced motion, and repeatedly says "OOOO". I'm pretty sure he didn't know how to control himself nor was able to decide which one to try first. He grabbed a piece, took a nibble, put it back, and then picked up a different one. Liam seriously did this with 5 different pieces within a minute, lol. It was hilarious. We're going to continue to share this Valentine's Day tradition and I hope that one day, he will pass it on to someone he loves. The fastest way to our hearts is chocolate.

Tomorrow our plans are to give Liam his Valentine's basket when Tommy gets home from work Which has a sticker Valentine's Card, sweets, chalk for him to draw with, toys, and a card to Build A Bear. If we have time, I want to take him to get another bear made, bake heart cookies, and watch a movie of his choice. What are some of your Valentine's Day traditions?

I hope yall have a special Valentine's Day with family, friends, or soul mate!

Annie
