DRESS: Nordstrom // SHOES: Tory Burch // BAG: Tory Burch // SUNGLASSES: Ray-ban // BRACELETS: David Yurman // OUTFIT 2: BOOTIES: Vince Camuto (similar here) // BAG: Nordstrom

I hope yall have been having a great week!

I've have been waiting forever to share this dress with yall. Its finally online and available in all sizes for only $48! Off the shoulders has definitely been my favorite trend this summer and will probably be in the fall as well. Yes! OTS are sticking around for the fall, I was surprised at first too. OTS sweaters, fall colored OTS dresses, and long sleeve OTS are all really popular for pre-fall right now. I've already been wearing this dress every week with booties and even took it to my Destin trip awhile back and wore it with sandals. I attached a picture below so you could see how I would wear it in the fall.

Lately, I've been busy with a few photo sessions (family primarily) and it's hard work! I never thought it was an easy job but the pressure of taking "perfect" photos for someone else's birthday or newborn baby photos is though. I don't get a redo like my blog photos, lol. I'm been considering taking some more classes because I'm just now relizing that I like really love photography, lol. I feel stupid for realizing it so late, my husband actually brought it up. He really does know me better than I know myself (sometimes).

Thank you so much for stopping by!

TOP: Nordstrom // SHORTS: Article of Society (similar here and here) // SHOES: Vince Camuto (love these) // SUNGLASSES: Ray-ban // BAG: Gucci

Happy Monday everyone!

First off, I would like to point out that my baby hairs are getting ridiculous. I lost/split a lot of hair after I gave birth to Liam up until he was about 8 months and they are finally starting to grow back. I've been taking vitamins so they should grow out fully in a few months.

Now to my outfit, wearing shorts and booties. One way to incorportate fall into your look during the hotter seasons is wearing your booties with shorts. I love that this outfit looks "fall" but I'm not sweating while wearing it, lol. Wearing a light weight fall colored dress with booties is also another cute outfit to wear right now (like this outfit from this post).

Thank you so much for stopping by!

^Liam didn't like the feeling of sand between his toes at all, lol

^It took him 5 days to get use to the sand, lol.
OUTFIT 1- TOP: Anthropologie (on sale!) // SHORTS: Articles of Society // Liam: ONSIE: Vineyard Vines // OUTFIT 2-  DRESS: Blu Spero (similar here) // Liam: OVERALLS: Vineyard Vines (my favorite)

Last week, I made a last minute decision to take a break from reality and take a mother and son trip to Destin, Floridia. My aunt had planned this trip with her family and friends at the beginning of summer, but I had no intentions of going. I actually decided after they already left and then booked a hotel room near my aunts beach house. I drove super early that next morning so that Liam would be asleep majority of the car ride. We had recently went on Liam's birthday trip last month and it was incredibly fun, but I wanted to getaway to a place that was much more calming and relaxing. That's also why I don't have as many pictures, I wanted to take a little break from work and just spend some quality time with my son.

Destin, by far, has the most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen! Not only are the beaches clean and blue, the areas around the town are updated and friendly. There were tons of parks, play areas (arcade, go kart, mini golf, ect..), restaurants, shopping centers, an outlet mall, and even a Whole Foods! Everything was less than 6 miles of our place too! We went to the beach when we got there and Liam did not like the sand...he was confused and terrified, lol. I kept trying to see if he would get use to it but he never did. Putting his toes in the wet sand was even worse because he would yell when his feet started to sink. I felt bad for him but I was also laughing inside, his reactions were priceless, lol. We stayed in at my aunts beach house majority of the time to relax, Liam also loved playing with all of the other children that were there. This boy really loves being around people, especially babies and toddlers. There was this sweet little boy that was about 9 and Liam loved playing with him. They would throw the basketball back to each other all day and follow each other around the house. It was really relaxing to be able to be vacation and stay in with family and friends and just eat and watch movies all day long. During the 5 nights that we were there, it rained EVERY.SINGLE.DAY! It was annoying but it kinda worked in our favor since we were indoors 90% of the time. We went on a lot of night outings with 8 other kids that were there. During those 5 days, we went to the movies, the outlet mall, a local arcade, ate at local ice-cream shops, saw alligators and went to The Track. The Track is the perfect place for people of all ages. They have go kart tracks for adults, an arcade and mini golf course for kids, and they have an amusement park specifically for babies and toddlers. Liam rode 4 rides and LOVED it, he even rode two by himself! To be honest, beaches aren't really my thing. I'd rather be running around a new place and eating at all the local restaurants than have the sand between my toes and salt in my hair, lol. I mean, I love going to the beach every once in a while (like once a year, lol), so it was nice to be able to experience that with Liam before we moved back to Colorado.

If you plan on visiting Destin anytime and needed more insight, feel free to email me or leave a comment below. Everything is extremely close to each other so I didn't feel the need to write out an entire travel guide. If you don't know where to stay, I would highly suggest renting a beach house near/on the beach. There are tons of companies that rent them out and you really get to soak everything in by staying in a beach house. Do yall have any favorite beaches that yall would recommend?

DRESS: Shein // SHOES: Hinge (size 1/2 down) // BAG: Louis Vuitton (similar option here) // BRACELETS: David Yurman & David Yurman

Happy Monday!

First off, I've been dying at all the lemon print clothing this summer! I opened up this package when I got home and threw it on for brunch that same day. If I had to wear one dress for the rest of the summer, this would be it. It runs a little short so there are more size options here. Liam and I are finally home from our much needed beach trip. I'm not the "beach-y" type, but Destin was extremely beautiful and relaxing. I'll be sure to write a blog post on Destin and California (when I sort through the thousands of pictures, lol) later this week.

Thank you for reading!

TOP: Blu Spero // SHORTS: Articles of Society // SHOES: Tory Burch // BAG: Gucci (less expensive here) // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker

I think I may have one too many off the shoulder tops and dresses, lol. I found this one at a little boutique while shopping in Destin and saw that they actually had an online store! The shopping center that we went to was actually ranked the number shopping strip last year. We're here until the end of the week and I'm praying that the weather gets better because it has been raining nonstop. Liam still isn't use to the beach but we're getting there. He's probably just like me, I favor the big city versus someplace tropical (I still love being at the beach from time to time), lol.

Thank you for stopping by!

DRESS: Dezzal // SHOES: Vince Camuto (similar style here) // BAG: Gucci // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // CUFF: David Yurman

Everyone knows that I'm a lover of anything chambray. I mean, it's practically a neutral and is acceptable to wear every season. I found this dress on Dezzal and it's the perfect dress to wear now and in the fall. I came across Dezzal last month and they have a great selection of clothes! If you haven't checked them out before, you're missing out!  The carry great quality items and even have flash sales. I've been looking at this one for fall! I know, I know, all I talk about it fall...but with all the fall pre-sales happening, it's a great time to start shopping for your fall wardrobe. It's even better if you can wear them now and get more use out of them.

In other news, it's the weekend! Liam and I plan on spending our weekend at the park where he can practice walking and possibly running, lol. Houston Restaurant Week already started and I also can't wait to try all these new places. If you live in Houston, definitely check out their list and deals! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

TOP: Nordstrom (more choices here!) // JEANS: AG (on sale!) // SHOES: Christian Louboutin // SUNGLASSES: Ray-ban // BAG: Gucci // Liam- TOP: Old Navy // JEANS: Gap // SHOES: Converse

Happy Thursday everyone! All of the pre-fall items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are getting me super excited for the cooler crisp air that is fall. I've been putting outfits together that I could wear now and that would transition into fall. One of my favorite fall trends is plaid; plaid is in style year after year. There are like 100 plaid prints that come out and they all look cute with jeans and booties (dresses are even easier to style!). I wore this outfit yesterday and surprisingly, I didn't get drenched in sweat (except when we were standing still outside shooting for 1/2 an hour, lol). I wouldn't recommend wearing this outfit if you're planning an entire day outside, but it definitely wearable getting dinner with your friends, shopping, or indoor gatherings, lol. Coming from someone that hates jeans, these are the most comfortable jeans ever...they are a MUST HAVE!!! They are apart of the #nsale and have been restocked multiple times. They also have a good stretch to them; I especially need that towards the end of the day since I eat like 10 times a day, lol. They run pretty true to size, but if you're in-between sizes, size down...they stretch so well that the smaller size would probably look more flattering. These are my third pair of AG jeans and they don't disappoint.

Fall style for boy babies/toddlers are so cute and easy! Grab a pair of cute sneakers, jeans, and a long sleeve top (if the weather is a little colder, layer with a jacket or cardigan (dressier jacket here). Liam started taking his first steps 4 days ago and now he's officially walking! He loves holding my hand while we walk around and watching his face lights up melts my heart. He tries to run sometimes and it's so funny because he wobbles and then catches himself. I want to plan another trip for us before the summer ends and I was thinking about going somewhere close like Florida, he would love to swim in those warm beaches. Do yall have any recommendations that are not too far from Houston (8 hour drive limit!)?
