SHIRT: ILY // JEANS: BLANKNYC // SHOES: Christian Louboutin // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // BAG: Tory Burch // PHONE CASE: Sonix

I've been eyeing this "Wifey" tee for awhile now and I finally ordered it. I really love ILY Couture's shirts and sweaters, the t-shirts are a little more than what I would usually pay for but TOTALLY worth it. I also have this sweatshirt that I wear all the time... remember it from this post? For me, boyfriend jeans are the ideal jeans for the spring/summer, they aren't too tight so it feels airy. Boyfriend jeans have always looked extremely baggy on me but these are so perfect! They have the perfect loose fit and light tightness at the top AND are only $88!

Houston is hosting an event for NCAA this weekend at Discovery Green and I'm so excited! There's going to be a couple of great artist like Maroon 5, Kendrick Lamar, and Panic at the Disco. So this weekend will definitely be busy! What are yall's plans this weekend?

Happy Friday yall!

Today, I'm going to keep it short and simple. Spring is officially here and for me, wearing dresses in the spring is like wearing leggings in the winter, it's ALL I wear. There are so many pretty dresses out there right now, so I rounded up a few of my favorites and they're all under $75! Number three is actually a two piece and the skirt is here (and it's also my birthday outfit :))!

DRESS: Chicwish // SHOES: Christian Louboutin // BAG: Louis Vuitton // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker (less expensive here) // BRACELET: David Yurman

Remember this dress from my Instagram? I wore it to one of my best friend's wedding two weeks ago in Houston and got a lot of compliments on it. The detailed lace cut outs and lining reminded me of Self Portrait silhouettes, except for one big difference... this dress is under $60! It runs a little big (ordered a small) and the color is more burgundy red in person. This feminine dress is partially lined so you feel sexy and look your best...while staying in appropriate wedding attire code, of course.

Onto the shoes...I think every girl needs a pair of Christian Louboutin heels. Even though they are a bit pricey, I believe that they are a good investment. I've been wanting a nude pair for the longest time, so my wonderful husband got them for me for my birthday this year. They are SO beautiful and sexy (I don't ever use that word, but it's the perfect word to describe them). I'm not going to sugarcoat the comfort of these heels...wearing them makes me want to die, lol. I wore them for maybe 10 minutes and my feet were in pain from the tall height of the heels (and because I didn't break them in prior to, whoops!). I'm a 6 1/2 and ordered a 36.5, it's very narrow at the bottom but my heel kept coming up with the 37. I knew that it would stretch over time, so that's why I went with the 36.5. My suggestion for the So Kate would be to stay true to your size BUT if you have wide feet size up 1/2 a size.

I hope yall have a wonderful day, thank you for reading!

TOP: Old (VERY similar here) // BOTTOMS: Nordstrom (wearing size XS) // SHOES: Sam Edelman // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // BAG: Tory Burch // NECKLACE: Kendra Scott // WATCH: Michael Kors // BRACELETS: David Yurman, ThePeachBox, & Kendra Scott // RING: ThePeachBox // Liam- ONSIE: Gap

Happy spring everyone!

Today, I'm sharing my first official spring outfit with yall. I wore this outfit when I took Liam to the park the other day and I have to say that this is my favorite outfit so far. I'm head over heels for these floral pants. I'm obsessed with them, they are beautifully detailed, lined, and perfect for spring. It was so much fun to play around with jewelry for this outfit. Jewelry was the first thing that drew me into fashion...I started working at my aunts jewelry store when I was 12 and then at Kendra Scott throughout college. So, you could say that I enjoy a fine polished piece of jewelry from time to time (more like always, lol.). I came across ThePeachBox about 2 months ago and loved the pieces! Sometimes, I find myself having a load of old jewelry that I don't wear anymore, specifically because I bought them to match an outfit or two. The Peach box has a great selection of dainty everyday pieces. Their ancient roman collection is my favorite..this bracelet that I'm wearing hasn't been taken off since I've got it. I'm thinking about getting this bracelet to go with it!

I'm beyond excited that spring has arrived, this winter has felt incredibly long. I'm making a bucket list of things to do this season and going to the park and museums are definitely at the top. Liam really enjoys being outside, he loves the wind in his face (literally..he always smiles when a gush of wind blows in,lol) and playing with toys. Oh, and I can't forget eating...he LOVES eating. He will eat about anything. I adore these photos of him getting his fat on, it's shows exactly how he is 24/7, lol. What are some of your favorite things to do in the spring?

Thank you so much for reading!

DRESS: ASOS (size 4 & I'm 5'1) // SANDALS: Tory Burch // SUNGLASSES: Urban Outfitters (only $18! love these) // PHONE CASE: Sonix (more prints here

Happy Friday!!

Straight to today's post, this's only $26! It's seriously a steal and it comes in 5 colors (woo hoo).. I've probably worn this dress 4 times and I only got it about a week ago, lol. The quality is great and it's such a cute spring dress to thrown on and get your day going. It's definitely a must have this season.

My sister and I went shopping yesterday and I saw that these sunglasses that I got last year are still for in stock. They remind me of the super duper Karen Walker sunnies, perfect dupe. Urban Outfitters carries a great selection of affordable sunglasses. I think I might order these, they are out of my comfort zone, but I LOVE them!

I know I've been jumping around but I have one last thing to say... how cute is this half bun hairstyle?! I feel like my hairstyle is always the same, so I wanted to try something new. I've seen this look on celebrities and other bloggers and thought I'd give it a try. I'm obsessed with it (even though my sister thinks its weird, lol)! It's so easy to do and takes about 10 mins. Do yall have any cute hairstyles that are quick and easy?

DRESS: All For Color (more sizes here) // BAG: Nordstrom // SHOES: Rebecca Minkoff (LOVE!) // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // EARRINGS: Kendra Scott (old, love these

Okay, so how cute is this "banana leaf" print from All For Color?! I was immediately drawn to this print when I saw it online (and because I love blue hues)! Spring prints are always so much fun. I love that they carry multiple styles in the same print. Of course, I picked the comfy shift dress... it had pockets so that was a big plus :). If you know me, you know that I try my best to avoid pants, lol. Shift dresses, swing dress, maxis, and flowy tops are my favorites. I also added some of my other picks from All For Color that I want for spring!

I pulled out my bucket bag that I bought from Nordstrom's anniversary sale last year to wear with this dress and guess what... it's back in stock!!! It's only $48 and great quality. There's even a miniature size one (insert all heart eye emoji). I feel like everything is becoming miniature!

Has anyone else been dreaming of some place tropical? I was suppose to travel the Dominican Republic for spring break but couldn't get Liam and I a passport, boo. BUT, It's so warm in Texas that it already feels like summer. What are your plans for spring break? Or what did you already do, lol.

Thank you for stopping by!
