We loved our stay at The Village at Steamboat. It was right across the mountain, they had every thing you would want (hot tub, sauna, tennis court, shuttle, etc). My favorite part about this location was that there were huge areas of snow that you could play and go sledding in; it was actually located right outside our building near the Sports Authority.

We cooked majority of the time but we went to a really great pizza dinner in the town called Beau Jo's, their pastas are delicious and fresh.

We also ate at Gondola Pub & Grill, it's located right at the ski lift. They are really known for their burgers and fries.

It was our first time skiing so my siblings and some of our friends got beginners lessons. Tommy on the other hand has been skiing when he was 5 so he didn't "need" them and went straight to the black diamond slope (the very top slope) and I almost had a heart attack! Also, they don't have these prices online but if you're a beginner or would only like to ski at night it only cost about $35!

We went tubing at Saddleback Ranch on our last day, I actually got stuck in the snow on the was terrifying. I highly recommend taking the shuttles that they offer. We only went tubing but they offer tons of activities like sleigh rides and snowmobiles.

I hope my insight was helpful!

PONCHO: HM (love this one!) // SLIP: Free People // TEE: BP // SHOES: Steve Madden (more sizes here) // BAG: Louis Vuitton // SUNGLASSES: Ray-bans // EARRINGS: Kendra Scott // BRACELET: David Yurman

I bought this poncho at the HM sale a few weeks back in Denver and couldn't wait to wear it! I think I've worn it at least twice every week that I've had it. There are only a few left so I linked up some similar ones, like this one or this one. I decided to buy a larger size (wearing a medium) so I could style it as a dress. I'm always finding a way to avoid wearing pants, lol. The poncho does rise a little bit when I lift my arms, so I wore a nude slip underneath. Recently, neutrals have been my go to color. I originally wore my pink hunters (on sale) with this poncho, but I decided to dress it up a little bit with my grey OTK and tie it all in with a simple white tee for layering.

This week has definitely flown by, I'm hoping to do some hiking this weekend (I've been pretty lazy) and explore my town a little bit more. What about yall?

Me-JACKET: North Face (old, similar here) // JEANS: AG // BEANIE: Old (similar here) // Mini- BUNTING: LL Bean

Hi there!

Before yall start reading, I want to let yall know that this post is a little sappy. My little baby boy turned 6 months today (moment to cry)!! Liam has grown so much in these past few months; he loves playing with his billion of toys and enjoys being read to every night by Tommy.

Last Monday, we took Liam on his first zoo visit at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We put him in his LL Bean bear suit to keep him warm. They should really make these in adult sizes, lol. This zoo was probably the best one that I've ever been too. It's located on a mountain, so that right there makes it 10x better than most. Liam loved the giraffes and elephants; those are his favorites (or so I like to think, lol). I loved being able to feed and be close to the animals there. My favorite part was probably the gift has been a favorite of mine since I was little. We went a little crazy at the gift shop. We bought Liam this long stick that makes noises when you flip it. It's not the safest baby toy, but he loved it (I just have to be around him when he's playing with it)!

Later that evening we set out a sheet and a cake for his big CAKE SMASH! He loved mushing the cake around...I was actually surprised that he destroyed it completely. Giving him a bath after was extremely difficult, as you can imagine.

Today were going to be staying since he has a little cough. I can't imagine how emotional I'm going to be when he turns a year old!

Thank you for reading!

SWEATER: Gap // SKIRT: BP (old, similar here) // SHOES: Hunters // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // BAG: Tory Burch // SOCKS: BP

Here's a full look at the outfit I wore last week to brunch. I've been wearing Hunters 24/7 lately because of the snow in Colorado! I changed up from my usual leggings/pants with Hunters outfit into something more girly. I love the shorter length and cocoon bottom of this sweater...great for skirts (been eyeing this one!) or other high waisted bottoms.

We're going to visit the zoo today for Liam's half birthday celebration. Then, were going to let him do a cake smash! I can't wait to see how crazy he's going to get.

Happy Monday!!

JACKET: BLANKNYC (sold out, very similar here) // TEE: Madewell // JEANS: AG // BOOTIES: Dolce Vita // SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker // BAG: Tory Burch (other colors here) // SCARF: Shein // EARRINGS: Baublebar // BRACELET: Kendra Scott (sold out, similar here)

I've been on the lookout for the perfect {faux} leather jacket for YEARS!!! Leather jackets always looked so butch on me so it was hard to find something light and feminine. I got this one at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year, it literally just sold out, but I linked some similar ones that I love. BLANKNYC carries some very chic leather jackets and for a reasonable price. I was so happy to finally pull it out of my closet and wear it while exploring Denver. You'll probably see me wearing it quite often this season. I think it would look really cute and chic over a floral dress (hint at a future outfit ;) ) when the weather gets warmer.

Have a great weekend!

I can't believe that Valentine's Day is only a month away! For me, picking out something to wear on this day gets a little overwhelming, so I rounded up some pieces that are causal to some pieces that are more formal and dressy. I think I would want to go with something monochromatic this year... I love the blush color of these jeans! I think it would pair perfectly with this red lace top and a pair of nude heels.

I love rose quartz; one of the pantone colors of 2016. Rose Quartz is such a beautiful color, it's so pretty, subtle, and in my opinion, a neutral because of how light and warm it is. These earrings are perfect if you only want to wear a hint of pink. A couple of these items could also be gift ideas for your other half, like this clutch and these flats (under $40!), especially.

Tommy was at basic training last February, so we weren't able to do anything. I'm not sure what our plans our this year, but I know that Liam will be joining us and I will be getting my annual Godiva Milk Chocolate box (I get this every Valentine's Day and Christmas, it's my favorite chocolate!!) and who knows what else. Do yall have any Valentine's Day tradition or ideas? I would love to hear them!
